Objections are not rejections

Most objections are not ‘no’. ‘It’s too expensive’ often means ‘I don’t yet see why it’s worth it’. ‘I need to think about it’ often means something in the presentation didn’t land. ‘I’m not healthy enough’ is frequently a question disguised as a statement.

Top closers treat the first objection as information, not opposition. They acknowledge it, isolate it — is this the only thing holding you back? — and then answer that specific concern with a rebuttal tied to what the client said earlier in the call, not a generic script.

Our training teaches objection handling as a framework, not a list of comebacks: acknowledge, clarify, respond, and confirm. Practised that way, objections become the part of the call where the sale is actually made.
